A local health department has received a grant from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention to create a new initiative in its community that supports HPV vaccinations for boys and girls aged 11 and 12. The health department decides to create a coalition that includes employees of the health department, university professors and students, parents, schoolteachers, and school administrators. The coalition decides that two types of interventions are needed: one intervention that will focus on the children and will describe why getting the HPV vaccination is useful, and one intervention that will focus on the parents and will encourage them to talk about the HPV vaccination with their children’s doctor.
In children cognitive method can be used because when certain things are told to children they start to think, remember and learn about it.When this vaccination are told yo the children they remember and tell it their parent a who take the decision
For intervention with parents affective method can be used to approach the desired output from the parents. It can help to identify whether the parents are aware of the vaccination or not its benefits etc., They have the capability to analyse it before administering it to their children.
