1.The abnormalities found in the urinanalysis are

Yellow and slight cloudyness indicates the patient may have crystalluria (Crystal formation, renal stones,electrolyte abnormalities ),pyuria (infection)

The presence of RBC indicates the presence of bleeding or trauma, renal stones,infection,malignancies etc.,

2.The technologist can do a retest with the same sample or after informing the provider can go for a second sample from patient.If a second sample is required a simple urine routine test will be sufficient to correlate.

3.The technologist should inform the microbiologist and get it cross checked and verified before conveying to the health care professionals

4.The results indicates that the patient may have renal problems (urolithiasis,pre renal or glomerular problems ),infection,the chance of renal malignancy can be suspected due to the presence of RBC, trauma, prostatitis in male,sickle cell anemia
