Answer #1

ANSWER:

I = 8% AND N = INFINITY

Average wage of painters = $120,000

Total wage of painters = Average wage of painters * no of painters = $120,000 * 38 = $4,560,000

Average wage of ironworkers = $150,000

Total wage of ironworkers = Average wage of ironworkers * no of ironworkers = $150,000 * 17 = $2,550,000

Total wages = Total wage of painters + Total wage of ironworkers = $4,560,000 + $2,550,000 = $7,110,000

Capitalized cost = Total wages / i = $7,110,000 / 8% = $88,875,000
