8)Three various positions are used to give spinal block which are sitting,lateral decubitus and prone.lateral decubitus is the most common postion used for spinal block in women.patient is lying at the edge of the bed and in C shaped position by curving their arms and legs into the abdomen.In this procedure a local anaestics is injucted into subarachnoid space by using a thin needle.

9)it is a surgical procedure which is used to close the all holes which are present in duramatter of the spinal cord.it also assist to reduce the headache and provide comfort after a lumbar puncture.
