This is an issue of concern because this can not only risk the professional career of a nurse but it can also impact the life of a person. Severe cases related to the medical errors can lead to high legal obligations that can even destroy the life of a nurse and the reputation of a hospital. There are multiple causes of medical error in the healthcare settings. These causes include fatigue, higher workload, working in multiple shifts, lack of expertise and consultation, lack of alertness and delay of response toward the patients. It is important to choose this problem because focusing on this issue can help many nurses to have a stable professional life and maintain patient safety.
