Abbreviations:
MT - Medical technologist. MT is a skilled health professional who analyzes the specimen and reports it appropriately.
TAT - Turn Around Time. It is the interval of time that the process has to be completed within the time schedule.
QA - Quality Assurance. It is systematic monitoring and evaluation of the quality of standards of an organization.
VRS - Verbal Rating Scale. It is used in the assessment of pain where the patients define the level of pain between 0 and 10.
CMT - Certified Medication Technician. The trained individual who has a special skill in intermediate care.
CC - Chief Complaint. It is the evaluation of the patient current problem at the time of arrival at the hospital.
ROS - Review of System. This is the systematic examination of the body organ to determine the abnormalities and the function.
H and P - History and Physical Examination. It is the initial clinical evaluation of a collection of the patient data and examination of body parts.
DS - Double stranded. It is used in the prescription medication which determines double strength.
OR - Operating Room. the operating room is the place where the surgeries take place.
