1. Lewin's change theory is defines about making changes in a individual in a better way or to the previous way they present.
To make that changes driving force is needed.Driving force is the force which gives a motivation to the individual to adapt to that change.It is essential for the change to occur.
Restraining force is the force which stops the individual to change.
Equilibrium is the state where both the driving and restraining forces present so no change occur.
These are the states the individual can cross.
Stages of change model:
There are three stages of change model.
Unfreezing,Changing,Refreezing are the stages of change model.
unfreezing:
Here the individual has to find changes for betterment and accept the changes and get ready to make those changes.
Changes or movement:
Here the individual fully accept the changes and make it as regular one.
Refreezing:
Here the individual finds himself comfortable with the changes made.
3. First things is make her face challenges because she is escaping herself from the situations.So regular attending of work is essential here.Then make her to full involvement in the work hence the careless errors can be avoided.Then develop boldness to voice for herself in negative situations or to explain about what happens in the situation.So in unfreezing state she must make changes in her behavior like avoiding absenteeism,motivation and boldness.These are the changes she need to make to get back to the previous behavior.
Then in the movement phase, she needs to perform these changes in the daily activity and work.
then in refreezing state she must fully adapt to that changes and find it comfortable.So that the positive behavior develops for her.
4.Restraining forces are a guilty feel from the previous errors and demotivation given by superior or co-workers.
Driving forces are internal forces build up by herself readiness to work and self motivation .
5.Provide same amount of work as other nurses have.Don't show partiality in providing work distribution.It gives her a feel of equality and promote involvement.
Give her appreciation for her work so it encourages her .
Encourage her ask for doubts so that the errors can be avoided.
6.Developing knowledge and skills and self -motivation is the important two things she must have to be motivated.
