MONABASH is the abbreviation for the management of patients with myocardial infarction MI is caused due to blocked arteries caused by a thrombus . also known as unstable angina charecterised by severe pain,oxygen demand the emergency medical management are

M:Morphine (for reducing pain)

O: oxygen (to reduce the load on heart/demand

N:nitrates(for vasodilation)

A: aspirin (antiplatelet)

B:Beta blockers ( To control heart rate)

A:ace inhibitors(to control BP)

S: statins for (blood thinners)

H: heparin( anticoagulant)

The other options of diseases the medical management is different.

The treatment modalities for congestive heart failure is use of diuretics ,beta blockers , ace inhibitors it doesn't need morphine .

Pulmonary embolism also needs only blood thinners and not necessarily oxygen ,morphine

Deep vein thrombosis needs blood thinners, anticoagulant
