Answer: Nursing profession is one of the most challenging and unique profession. In mid of 19th century, Florence Nightingale was the first Lady who introduced the nursing profession. She believed that women can take care of the patients. At the initial stage of her career, she lead 38 nurses during the crimean war and then she gained name. Although she was born in a rich British family, she used to take care of the poor people.

She explained the duties of the nurse which is not only time provide quality of care to the patients but also provide them mental support, counseling so as the patients can recover from the diseased state. She has inspired the people to become nurse and to take intensive care of people. Due to her efforts, at present the nurse plays major roles in the healthcare settings.
