Answer #1

Isosorbide Dinitrate should be taken until getting used to it. Initially, the patient may complain about headaches but as the medication is taken regularly the headache will be gradually decreased. Even if the medication is taken on an empty stomach the headache appears and the medication should not be discontinued due to headaches. Option c is the correct answer. Headache is a common side effect and the patient should consult the physician before discontinuing or taking medications for headaches.
