  1. Bacitracin: This medication used to prevent minor skin infections caused by small cut wounds, it prevents bacterial infections. it can be adminstred intramusculary , there is no dose changes for adults , for children need to adjust the dose. Precautions wise need to check renal parameters- nephrotoxicity, maintain fluid intake and urine output, dont not administer IV as it causes severe thrombophelbitis,hypersensitivity reactions. It causes nausea and vomitting, kidney failure, itching, skin rashes, hematuria, back pain.
  2. Heparin: It is also known as unfractioned heparin, it is anticoagulants.It is given IV also and subcutaneously. Dose will be 5000IU or25000I avialable.Preacutions wise need to check creatinine value, low platelet count, HTN etc.Side effects will be bleeding.
  3. Xylocain(lidocain): It is used to numb tissue in specific area and also treat venticular tachycardia. Patient may get seizures, allergic rashes, dizziness. need to check patients heart condition or liver disease etc.
  4. Maricain or bupivacain: It is anaesthetic agent and decrease the feeling in specific area, injected to nerve cells, its used as epidural agents.Side effects like chest pain, anxiety, blurred vision, cardiac arrest, dizziness, fast heart rate. Donot use with epinephrine, avoid IV , caution in heart block or hypotension.
  5. saline 0.9%: Its mixture of sodium chloride, used to clean wounds or as IV fluids, side effects like febrile response, extravasation, etc.Should not be used in congestive heart failure or fluid over load patients or CKD patients
