Yet for much of the crisis, these multibillion-dollar opioid companies have avoided much in the way of serious accountability.

The America's opioid epidemic is the result of the altogether practice of the manufacturer and distributors. This is because they marketed the opioid which is dangerous painkillers. But due to there sale and profit these industries as well as the manufactures have avoided the serious outcomes and adverse effects of the opioid misuse.
