Answer #1

DISAGREED. NYHCA, also known as New York City Housing Authority, is the public development corporation in New York State who provides the public housing in the state. In U.S. it was the first agency who gives the housing for the low as well as moderate income residents throughout the five boroughs of the city. In the country NYCHA is the biggest Public Housing Authority, and also the largest landlord with over 175,000 units in New York City. However it failed to maintain decades-old buildings and decrease the number of people on the waiting list for need of public housing. Most of the high-rise buildings require a dramatic investment for the repair work. Entire public housings are overrun with rats. The buildings are bedeviled with leaks, and lead paint. NYHCA failed to responds to the requirements of the city residents as it lacks pest infestation, apartments windows and doors did not lock, mildew and mold and fire safety violations
