Patient education about the wound:

Properly explain the current status of wound & clearly explain wounwound is which state of wound healing process. Open wound must be clear from dust & other foreign bodies. If the patient is diabetics please ensure blood sugar level under control range. Diabetic patients need more duration to cure the wound than the normal patients. Patient must be aware about the signs of infection ;any redness swelling, edema, pus or fluid like discharges coming from the wound are notify. If any signs persist the person should give aware to his or her health care provider. Fever is a sign for infection ; please don't be neglect fever present. If any kind of dischargedischarges coming out from wound should be notify to your health care providers. Keep the wound & wound area clean & dry. Wet area is a good source for microorganisms. Body hygiene also important one, patient must be take daily bath. Otherwise high risk for infection. Followup must be done. Then only ypur healthcare provider know the wound current condition, if it's on wound healing stage or wound worsening stage.
