When repositioning a patient nurse should take measures for maintaining patient safety as well as own safety.first thing the nurse have to do to raise the bed in a working height.then lock the side rails of both side of the bed properly.after that when doing repositioning or for turning the patient in bed she should hold the patient properly.during the procedure nurse should maintain her body posture such as knees should be straight,bending is not recommended.
