Recently researchers compared 286 depressed workers with 193 others who were not depressed. The scenario is an example of an "Argument from Analogy" type of inductive argument because the conclusion follows from premises based on interring further similarities from known similarities.This is shown because the opening sentence is "For profit hospices do not focus on the best interests of their patients",the rest of the passage entails claims that supports that argument.I think that passage could have had a better argument if numbers where shown instead of starting that a study took place.The argument is a weak argument because the passage sounds biased because it doesn't contains facts that can be proven.Questions that I need answered would be, what is the statics of non-profit hospice and more in depth details about the neglection of patients.The passage does not contain enough evidence to move forward with the argument.

This scenario has Inductive Reasoning .The passage is an argument with two premises.The issue is whether the university of Hawali at Manon is a lot like the university of Colorado at Denver.The first premise is that the University of Hawari at Hawali at Manon is a lot like the university of Colorado at Denver.The second premise is that they both have student populations of approximately 20,000 students.Conclusions is that 64% of the students at the univesity of Hawali are Asian or Pacific Island descent, approximately the same number of the students at the University of Colorado at Denver are of Asian or Pacific Island descent.The passage has got a sub argument.The intermediate conclusion is that the university of Hawali at Manon is a lot like the university of Colorado at Denver.It is inductive analogical argument.Ana analogy is present and there are two similarities stated and thus a good support for analogy(Holyoak & Lee,2017).The two similarities are relevant to the feature and thus it is a strong argument.

This scenario is an inductive casual argument.
