Answer #1

Ans) Like privacy, health research has high value to society. It can provide important information about disease trends and risk factors, outcomes of treatment or public health interventions, functional abilities, patterns of care, and health care costs and use.

- People who have active social lives, participate in a range of activities, have a good
diet, consume a moderate amount of alcohol and maintain a healthy weight are more
likely to enjoy good health and less likely to become disabled.
Illness is more likely to occur if a person is depressed, as poor mental health can
suppress the immune system. Depression is more likely to occur in people who are
sedentary as they miss out on the mood-improving benefits of exercise. People with
limited or no social lives may also be susceptible to mental health problems as they do not have the benefits of a social network.
