I have these two questions that stumped me. if you could please help that would be great.

In the lab you will use the voltage V and and separation d between two plates to determine the magnitude E of the electric field between plates. How would you do that?

You will plot voltage vs r for two concentric rings. How is the distance r defined?

Electric field is defined as negative gradient of voltage if we plot voltage versus distance then slope of graph gives electric field and direction is along decreasing potential.

E= -V/d

For concenteric rings distance is measured from center of ring
