Solution :

Correlation coefficients are used to measure the strength of the relationship between two variables.

It has a value between +1 and −1, where 1 is total positive linear correlation, 0 is no linear correlation, and −1 is total negative linear correlation. (means the two data set clearly disagree with each other)

So for our given signal we can draw exactly opposite signal to get coorelation coefficient as -1.

b)

To get orthohogonal signal pair we need to make a signal such that its dot product in each time interval with

the given signal total add upto 0.

This is shown below :
