Bondline structure can be deduced from the name of bicyclic compounds.numbers used in the parenthesis is useful to learn . First number represents the number of carbon atom in one of the ring except bridging carbon ,it represents first highest number of carbon between the fused ring ,then after second number represents the number of carbon atom in second fused ring except bridging carbon, third number represents the number of carbon atom in bridging line except bridging carbon . Counting is started from one of the fused ring and moved in such a way so that we should go in that ring first which contains highest number of carbon atoms then going along that direction we arrive at second bridging carbon and go on counting in that line to count remaining carbon. Following the above rule I have drawn bond line formula
