Did a synthesis of a bycyclic compound using anthracene and maleic acid. He wants us to report the nmr using the format given but I’m at a loss. Any help would be appreciated!

¹H NMR (CDCl₃, 400 MHz) 7.5-7.0 (m, 8H, aromatic protons), 4.8 (s, 2H, bridging protons), 3.5(s, 2H, 9,10-DHA protons).

m stands for multiplet. Since all the 8 aromatic protons are overlapping with each other in a small region so its hard to report them isolately, in such cases the entire region is reported as multipltes.
