Oil Pressure Sending Unit
OPERATION
The low oil pressure/check gauges warning lamp (fed by the oil pressure sending unit) will illuminate when the ignition key is turned to the ON position without starting the vehicle. In cluster assemblies without tachometers, the low oil pressure lamp will illuminate if the sending unit indicates that the engine oil pressure has dropped below a safe oil pressure level. The sending unit alters resistance in its circuit depending on the amount of oil pressure detected. (The resistance is raised as the oil pressure is increased). Therefore, the range of various resistances is read by the oil pressure/check gauge and translated into a needle position of the oil pressure gauge. When the oil sending unit receives pressure which below a factory set level, the oil pressure warning light illuminates
In cluster assemblies equipped with tachometers, the check gauges warning lamp illuminates when there is a problem in oil pressure level, high engine temperature or low voltage.
The combination oil unit, which is essentially a combination of an oil pressure switch (for the warning light) and an oil pressure sending unit (for the oil pressure gauge), has two functions:
Oil pressure switch-The normal closed circuit keeps the oil
pressure warning/check gauges lamp on until there is oil
pressure.
Oil pressure gauge-The sending unit provides resistance that varies
with oil pressure.
TESTING
Except TC by Maserati
See Figures 2 and 3
To test the normally closed oil lamp circuit, disengage the
locking connector and measure the resistance between the switch
terminal (terminal for the wire to the warning lamp) and the metal
housing. The ohmmeter should read 0 ohms.
To test the sending unit, measure the resistance between the
sending unit terminal and the metal housing. The ohmmeter should
read an open circuit (infinite resistance).
Start the engine.
Once again, test each terminal against the metal housing:
The oil switch terminal-to-housing circuit should read an open
circuit if there is oil pressure present.
The sending unit-to-housing circuit should read between 30-55 ohms,
depending on the engine speed, oil temperature and oil
viscosity.
If the above results were not obtained, replace the sending
unit/switch with a new one.
The TC by Maserati vehicles are equipped with separate sending units/switches for the warning indicator lamp on the instrument panel and for the oil pressure gauge.
To test the low oil pressure switch, disengage the locking
connector and measure the resistance between the switch terminal
and the metal housing. The ohmmeter should read 0 ohms.
To test the oil pressure gauge sending unit, disconnect the wiring
to the sending unit. Measure the resistance between the sending
unit terminal and the metal housing. The ohmmeter should read an
open circuit (infinite resistance).
Start the engine.
Once again, test each terminal against the metal housing:
The oil switch terminal-to-housing circuit should read an open
circuit if there is oil pressure present.
The sending unit-to-housing circuit should read between 30-55 ohms,
depending on the engine speed, oil temperature and oil
viscosity.
If the above results were not obtained, replace the sending unit
or the switch with a new one.
REMOVAL & INSTALLATION
The oil pressure switch and sending unit is located directly above
the oil filter and next to the starter motor on the lower side of
the engine block.
Disconnect the negative (-) battery cable from the
battery.
Unplug the oil pressure sending unit wiring harness connector from
the sending unit.
Unscrew the sending unit from the engine block.
To install:
Install the new sending unit into the engine block and
tighten.
Plug the electrical wiring harness into the sending unit.
Attach the negative (-) battery cable.

this can be done in one class or two separate classes,in java thanks! You will implement and test several short recursive methods below. With the proper use of recursion, none of these methods should require more than a dozen lines of code. Test all these in the same class. Keep adding methods and testing until all are working 5. Stroke A stroke is serious, just like a heart attack, so it's important to know the signs of stroke and act quickly if you suspect someone is having one. Stroke is the fourth leading cause of death in the United States, and causes more serious long-term disabilities than any other disease. Older people are at higher risk. You can take steps to lower your chance of having a stroke. Know the Signs of Stroke Knowing the symptoms of a stroke...

1) UMGC Industries capital-asset procurement policy requires the board of directors (BOD) approve any single acquisition over $500,000. If the BOD approves a project, then the treasurer will transfer the funds to the respective plant. Within one year, the internal auditing function is charged with reviewing each acquisition to check the propriety of the purchase and disbursal of funds. UMGC Industries plant controller prepared the first proposal for a DEK cutting machine. Other plants were told to wait until internal...
The discussion: 150 -200 words. Auditing We know that computer security audits are important in business. However, let’s think about the types of audits that need to be performed and the frequency of these audits. Create a timeline that occurs during the fiscal year of audits that should occur and “who” should conduct the audits? Are they internal individuals, system administrators, internal accountants, external accountants, or others? Let me start you: (my timeline is wrong but you should use some...
10. Write a one-page summary of the attached paper? INTRODUCTION Many problems can develop in activated sludge operation that adversely affect effluent quality with origins in the engineering, hydraulic and microbiological components of the process. The real "heart" of the activated sludge system is the development and maintenance of a mixed microbial culture (activated sludge) that treats wastewater and which can be managed. One definition of a wastewater treatment plant operator is a "bug farmer", one who controls the aeration...
