Va = Volume of air = 19 m3

\rho _{a} = density of air = 1.25 kg/m3

mass of air is given as

ma = \rho _{a} Va

ma = (1.25) (19)

ma = 23.75 kg

b)

Vw = Volume of water = 0.79 m3

\rho _{w} = density of water = 1000 kg/m3

mass of air is given as

mw = \rho _{w} Vw

mw = (1000) (0.79)

mw = 790 kg

c)

T = equilibrium temperature

Using conservation of heat

Heat lost by water = Heat gained by air

mw cw (Tw - T) = ma ca (T - Ta )

mw cw Tw + ma ca Ta = (mw cw + ma ca )T

T = (mw cw Tw + ma ca Ta )/(mw cw + ma ca )
