Average velocity =

For 0 to 2 sec

Xf = 10 m

Xi = 0 m

tf = 2 sec

ti = 0 sec

Average velocity = 5 m/s

For 0 to 3

tf = 3 sec

ti = 0 sec

Xf = 7.5 m

Xi = 0 m

Average velocity = 2.5 m/s

For 3 to 6

tf = 6 sec

ti = 3 sec

Xf = 0 m

Xi = 7.5 m

Average velocity = -2.5 m/s

For 2 to 7

tf = 7 sec

ti = 2 sec

xf = -5 m

Xi = 10 m

Average velocity = -3 m/s

For 0 to 7

tf = 7 sec

ti = 0 sec

Xf = -5 m

Xi = 0 m

Average velocity = -5/7 = -0.714 m/s
