the y-component of force at y = 0.5 m , Fy = (U1 - 0)/(1 -0)

Fy = 80 N

b)

the y-component of force at y = 4 m , Fy = (0 - U1)/(5 - 1)

Fy = - 80 /4 = - 20 N
