REPORT ON IMPORTANCE OF NECESSARY APPLICATIONS FOR ENTREPRENEURSHIP

  • Introduction

An entrepreneur is an individual who creates a new business, bearing most of the risks and enjoying most of the rewards. The entrepreneur is commonly seen as an innovator, a source of new ideas, goods, services, and business/or procedures. And an app is computer software, or a program, most commonly a small, specific one used for mobile devices. The term app originally referred to any mobile or desktop application, but as more app stores have emerged to sell mobile apps to smartphone and tablet users, the term has evolved to refer to small programs that can be downloaded and installed all at once. There are thousands of apps designed to run on today's smartphones and tablets. Some apps can be downloaded for free, while others must be purchased from an app store. To sustain and upgrade in this world of technology, an entrepreneur must need few software applications in their smart gadgets, be it smartphone, tablets, pads or so.

  • Importance of applications

1. Customer engagement- The best thing about the mobile channel is that it gives companies the potential to engage with their customers in real-time, by location and complete with profile information.

2. Customer service and support- Making it simpler and more efficient for your customers to get in touch with your company and offering them tools to make their life easier while using your products or services can be a great reason to develop a mobile app.

3. Promotion- One of the most popular means to monetize is offering coupons. And mobile adds an interesting layer of location-based push notifications to the coupon economy. Imagine being the owner of an apparel store in downtown New York with thousands of people walking within a one mile radius of your outlet. If they were to get notified on their mobile phones with a coupon from your store when walking by, they'd increase the likelihood of having them visit by providing a timely reason.

4. Selling- If entrepreneurs sell their products or services online, a mobile app may be an option worth considering. This gives customers the mobility to do the same things they would traditionally have done sitting at their desks, but on their phones.

There are many examples for this in which online retailers have extended their offerings to customers who want to shop on-the-go using their mobile phones. An application is a planned and structured process to meet the needs. Use of application assists in elimination of human errors, therefore allowing effectiveness and consistency. Its use is important for completing business tasks and reporting the organization’s activities. It increases efficiency and effectiveness of the company’s activities. Moreover, it helps in performing the business activities in shorter period of time that reduces the work load.

The purpose of all application is to maintain and control the business. It is one of the most important assets for business efficiency. The software manages the tasks of the entire organization. Many standard applications are available that helps in fulfilling business requirements.

A software program makes data structure and documentation easy that helps in running a complicated business operation smoothly. Businesses choose software solutions for professional expertise, customer-centric approach and a cost effective mechanism to maintain fast and secured business units.

Use of software helps in knowing financial positions, profit and loss and financial strength of an organization quickly. Accounting software generates all kinds of business reports in the least possible time that can be sent to related person via e-mail.
