How to convert X,Y,Z data into columns that can be interpreted in excel. I have some X,Y,Z data that I wantedto be converted into elevation, change in slope, and change in elevation overtime. Ideally, I want these values to be columns in excel that I can run some preliminary stats analyses on. Any help would be appreciated!
The question I suppose is, how to put comma seperated values into different columns. You can do so by following the below mentioned steps.
How to convert X,Y,Z data into columns that can be interpreted in excel. I have some...
Solve by using the Gauss-Jordan elimination method: x+y-z=2 2x+3y-z=7 3x-2y+z=9 I know that you have to convert them to 1 0 0 | 2 0 1 0 | 7 0 0 1 | 9 I am just not clear on how to do this row by row. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Instructions for Excel a) Using the data in the file (i.e., the values of Y and values of X), create a scatter plot with the variable Y plotted vertically and the variable X plotted horizontally. You are to add a trendline, the equation of the line and R2 to this scatter plot. You do not need to add a title to this plot. b) Run the ‘Regression’ analysis tool (found under DATA/Data Analysis). The output using this tool should result...
How can I show the following? Let X, Y and Z be random variables on the same probability space such that Cov(X, Y ) < +∞. Show that Cov(X, Y ) = E(Cov(X, Y|Z)) + Cov (E (X|Z), E (Y|Z))
H(X) means entropy of X. I have some questions when solving this problem. (a) Refer to similar questions, H(Z|X)=H(Y|X) if Z=X+Y, I want to know whether we can simplify H(X|Z)? (b) if Px(X=0)=0.5, Px(X=1)=0.5, Py(Y=0)=0.5, Py(Y=-1)=0.5, if they are not independent, can I just give random variable Z with its probability distribution as P(Z=0)=1, P(Z=1)=0, P(Z=-1)=0. (c)Plus, I also want to know the answer to the original problem with 4 questions. Let X and Y be two random variables defined...

I can't attach the data due to the file being real large i can email it to you so i can have your help on it # Assignment 1 # R Programming Language # ---- Why do Exploratory Data Analysis (EDA)? ---- # We will be looking at ## identifying outliers ## null values ## generating plots ## examining correlations # -------------------------------------------------------------- # In this video we will cover: ## univariate plots for continuous variables (boxlots, historgrams) ## bivariate plots...
I will rate, please help!!! Consider the following data concerning the demand (y) and price (x) of a consumer product. Demand, y Price, x 247 230 $2.06 $2.20 $2.47 $2.67 $2.88 $2.96 253 244 220 235 Type the data into Minitab as two COLUMNS (labeled Y (demand) and X (price)). Create a scatterplot to see the relationship between demand and price (a) From the plot, does it seem reasonable to use the simple linear regression model to relate y to...
we use the form y a + bx for the least-squares line. In some computer printouts, the least-squares equation is not given directly. Instead, the value of the constant a is given, and the coefficient b of the explanatory or predictor variable is displayed. Sometimes a is referred to as the constant, and sometimes as the intercept. Data from a report showed the following relationship between elevation (in thousands of feet) and average number of frost-free days per year in...
Say that a spring can move in x, y, and z. How should I find the spring constant k if the displacements of x, y, and z are known (through a graph that features position vs time)? Does k present itself as k_x, k_y, and k_z? Then does that mean |k|=sqrt{k_x^2+k_y^2+k_z^2}?
Please Help! can someone walk me through how O actually come up with slope? i inderstand that dym is the y values and ml is the x, but I cant figure out what those values are. I used a He-Ne Laser, wavelength = 632.8 nm, and shined through two slits whose separation distance is d = 0.250 mm. The light was shined upon a sheet of paper taped to the wall and was 10.0 ft 4.00 inches away from the...
