this is a two tailed test.

sample size (n) = 7

degrees of freedom = (n-1) = (7-1) = 6

t critical value for alpha= 0.05 be:-

t* = +2.447

[ from t distribution table, for df = 6, both tailed test.

more elaboration just for your ease to find out t critical value by yourself:-

you need to find,

t* = ta/2 = t.05/2 = to.025

in t distribution table , in the alpha= 0.025 column..see the value corresponding to the row which is containing df =6.

you will get, t* = 2.447 ]

the diagram showing the critical value and critical region be:-

critical region remitica -2,447 ó 21447.
