● Accuracy is defined as the extent of closeness towards the true value.

Precision is simply understood as the repetition of measured value or closeness to next measured value.

Hence, An instrument is precise if it's successive readings are close to one another .

Standard Deviation  shows the deviation or difference of average value from each other.

A) Since the Instrument 2 is more close to the True Value. Hence, Instrument 2 is more Accurate.

B) since the Standard Deviation of Instrument 2 is less.

This simply implies that Instrument 2 has very lesser deviation from its average value while Instrument 1 has greater Standard deviation which simply means that Instrument 1 has Greater Deviation from its average value.

Thus by definition, we can say that Instrument 2 is more precise.
