Since the car is moving with constant speed, only work done is aganst friction. That is car needs 200 MJ of energy to overcome friction. Each litre of gasoline can provide 35 MJ of energy. Efficiency of engine is 22 %.

If N litre of gasoline is used up, energy generated is ( 35 x N ) MJ. Only 22 % of this is used by car to overcome friction.

That is ( 22/100 ) x 35 x N = 200

number of litre of Gasoline needed is N = 26.0 Litres
