Situation: Gloria and her husband John live in a residential community from which John commutes to work in a nearby city. Gloria runs an accounting business from their home. They have two teenage boys who need transportation to many extracurricular activities. Gloria and John teaclh Sunday school and are Boy Scout leaders. Gloria's mother has just had knee replacement surgery and cannot take care of Gloria's father, who has early stage Alzheimer's disease. In addition to her own home responsibilities. Gloria must go to her parents' home to prepare meals and to provide care for them during the day. Gloria's sister sleeps in the parents home during the night. Stress , which can occur to anybody though they try to complete their task at at time.

Gloria's stress is on multiple level to balance her home , children,work and elderly parents.John it is the stress of his family and children's future

Some of the manifestation she could face are

• Low energy levels
• Headache
• Insomnia
• Tense muscles
• Upset stomach
• Irritability
• Low concentrations level

Some interventions which can be followed are

• A care taker can be arranged to her parents though she looks after them which can make her feel secured that her parents are safe
• Maintaining a good nutritional status to meet the lost energy.
• Stress relieving techniques like Yoga, medications can be followed
• Good sleep
• Spending time with family
• Going for an outing atleast once a month

Nursing ,now a days choosed most to get a good career.But certain students are not capable of handling the stress out of education and during their initial work period.

The stress can be relieved in nursing school by giving them good academic knowledge, coping mechanisms in critical situation, counselling for students who are confused, making them participate in culturals,motivating students by management.

Overall self decision of a candidate is necessary to deal any stressful events.
