The return of students to the campus will increase the demand for papers. This will shift the demand curve to the right. New equilibrium will be reached where new demand curve and existing supply curve intersect. This point is represented by y.

- d) decrease in the price of dvd players.

Dvd players and dvds are complementary goods. Hence decrease in price of one will increase the demand for other goods.

Shift from B to C curve is an increase in demand which would take place with decrease in price of dvd players.
