Question

1. Choose the incorrect statements about the experiment of the use of oscilloscope. A. A sine wave is shown on the screen. There are six divisions from peak to pee Therefore, we can conclude that the peak-to-peak voltage is six volts. B. For 5 MHz, the shape of the wave which is shown on the screen is inconsistent with the one we observe in lower frequency. Therefore, we must make some mistakes during the experiment. c. In the experiment, the ratio of channel 1s voltage to the channel 2s voltage should approximately equal to the ratio of R1to R2. 2. In the experiment of determination of elm, you got following data: rwo 057m, B 8.10 Gauss. Moreover, you got e/m 1.787 10A11c/kg. Question: which voltages did you most probably use to get this result? A 250V C.150V

Answer #1

1).The incorrect statement in the question is the part (A) since when there is 6 divisions peak to peak in the sine wave shown, then we have to see the how much voltage we have setted, by knob, for each division. Then we'll have to multiply that voltage by number of divisions. Hence we can't say that peak to peak voltage is 6V.

Hence inncorect statement is : A).
