For a charged particle of charge q, mass m, and velocity v

If it enters a magnetic field of intensity B, the radius,r, that it traces can be given by

r=\frac{mv}{qB}

for proton, the equation becomes

r_{p}=\frac{m_{p}v_{_{p}}}{q_{p}B}

for deuteron this equation becomes

r_{d}=\frac{m_{d}v_{_{d}}}{q_{d}B}

but md=2mp (given)

and qd=qp (given)

and vd=vp (given)

so, rd becomes

r_{d}=\frac{2m_{p}v_{_{p}}}{q_{p}B}

or r_{d}=2 r_{p}

So, the correct answer will be C since the charge is same so direction will be same.
