Answer #1

Force on each of the charges = - kQ^2/2a^2 + kQ^2/a^2 * sqrt2

= - 9e9*5.3e-3^2/[2*0.12^2] +  9e9*5.3e-3^2/[0.12^2] * sqrt2

= 16050161 N

direction of each charge is towards center

direction of 1 = 360 - 45 = 315 degree

direction of 2 = 180+45 = 225 degree

direction of 3 = 90+ 45 = 135 degree

direction of 4 = 45 degree
