Women might approach managerial decision making differently than men as they take more rational and reasoning based approach as compared to the aggressive, risk taking decision making style of men. Women tend to make decision on the basis of facts and take more risk aversion and cautious approach as compared to men.

2. Describe a time you either experienced or saw a " dogsled problem " at work.

A time experienced at work  saw " a dogsled problem " at work is when mostly men are assigned the task of representation a group or delegate tasks for completing a project. They tend to take more leadership position in terms of representing the interest of team members as well as negotiating on the behalf of team members. The team tends to rally behind them and provide support for their initiatives and representation of their problems. Generally it occurs as men are in majority and they find it easier to deal or negotiate.The women contribute based on their sincerity and capability of performing tasks with diligence as they find lesser chances to prove their abilities and talent. So, it can be interpreted as women work behind the scenes while men represent the group's efforts and feedback in forms of promotions or rewards for the efforts.
