so,1-(1/2^2)=1-1/4=3/4=0.75

Hence,atleast 75% of the data lie within 2 standard deviations of mean.

b)

k=1.5

so,1-(1/1.5^2)=1-0.44=0.56

Hence,atleast 56% of the data lie within 2 standard deviations of mean.

c)3 and 51.6 are 3 standard deviations away from the mean.

k=3

so,1-(1/3^2)=1-0.11=0.89

Hence,atleast 89% of the data lie within 2 standard deviations of mean.
