Q1: What are the benefits of having both “brick” and “click” stores for consumers?

Ans.- Due to the inherent benefits of having both “brick” and “click” stores i.e., both offline and online stores/presence for the companies have become a new trend with the advent of internet and allied digital technologies. Some of these inherent benefits can be listed as follows-

· Having both “brick” and “click” stores i.e., both offline and online stores/presence help the enterprises to cater the need of a wider range of consumers and consequently earn more revenue.

· It helps to boost sales by offering its products for all kind of consumers. There are consumers who want to purchase by visiting the physical shop to experience and check the products before purchasing and there are also consumers who want to save their time by purchasing the product online. So having both “brick” and “click” stores i.e., both offline and online stores/presence help the enterprise to meet the need of all kinds of consumers.

· It also helps the enterprises to expand its business internationally across the physical national boundaries.

· It also help to improve the customer experience as the customers can do research online about the products before making actual purchase of the products.

· It also helps to build a brand image of the enterprises which boosts brand loyalty among the customers.

Q2: Make three suggestions on how Chemist Warehouse can do better in its E-commerce.

Ans. - My three suggestions through which Chemist Warehouse can do better in its E-commerce are as follows-

· Chemist Warehouse should use digital marketing for its promotion. It should focus to build its brand presence on social media platforms so that it can make maximum out of ecommerce platform.

· Chemist Warehouse should also make its website Search Engine Optimization (SEO) friendly so that whenever potential leads/customers searches for any product/medicine then its website can come up at the first place to provide required information. Having a SEO friendly websites help to boost sales and earn more revenue.

· Chemist Warehouse should sell it products at a highly competitive price so that it can beat its competitors. It should also give some freebies/gifts to its some randomly selected customers. It will create excitement among the customers.
