Answer #1

Answer - 1 : (iii) Polar

Answer - 2 : (i) I and II only ( Polar and Non polar)

Answer - 3 : (i) I and III only (Microtubules and Microfilaments)

Explanations :-

1. A polar covalent bond exists when atoms with different electronegativities share electrons in a covalent bond. Consider the hydrogen chloride (HCl) molecule. Each atom in HCl requires one more electron to form an inert gas electron configuration. Polar molecules have a negative “end” and a positive “end.”

2. (i) A covalent bond formed between two different atoms is known as Polar covalent bond.
For example when a Covalent bond is formed between H and Cl , it is polar in nature because Cl is more   electronegative than H atom .

(ii) A covalent bond formed between two like atoms is known as Non-polar bond. Since difference of electro negativity is zero. therefore, both atoms attract electron pair equally and no charge appears on any atom and the whole molecule becomes neutral.

3. The three main structural components of the cytoskeleton are microtubules(formed by tubulins) , microfilaments (formed by actins) and intermediate filaments.
