From the question we havemass of the ice= 4.50 kg= 4.50*10^3 g

The heat of fusion= 80 cal/g

So the required heat to met all the ice at zero degree C

= mass* heat of fusion

= (4.50*10^3)*(80)

=3.6e5 cal
