Answer #1

Air mostly contains heavier molecules of Oxygen and Nitrogen gas.Due to decrease in gravitational force with height, density of air decreases with incresing height.

A balloon filled with Helium gas which has light molecules starts rising up due to buoyant force exerted by the air. The balloon keeps on rising till the certain height where there is very less density of air which let the Helium gas inside to expand. Due to the expansion, the balloon will burst out, and it will vanish in the space. Normaly the balloon rises upto the height of 9km.

If the material of the balloon is too much strong that it will not burst on the expansion of the Helium gas, at that case the balloon will rise up the height till its weight is balanced by the buoyant force exerted by the air.
