we know, the resonant frequency of a series RLC circuit is given by

f_{r}=\frac{1}{2\pi \sqrt{LC}}

Now, for fr = 2.88 * 103 Hz and L = 3.89 * 10-3 H, we get

2.88 \times 10^{3}=\frac{1}{2\pi \sqrt{3.89\times 10^{-3}\times C}}

C=\frac{1}{4\pi ^{2} \times 3.89 \times 10^{-3} \times \left ( 2.88 \times 10^{3} \right )^{2} }

C= 7.85 * 10-7 F =0.785 μF
