4 - Electrical Resistance
As temperature is changes, the length of resistance wire changes, this leads to change in resistance of wire. The chnage in current of the wire is calibrated against the strain in the material.
5- 45 degree
The cast iron is a brittle material. The are weak in shear. The maximum shear stress occurs in the material at an angle of 45 degree with the applied load direction.
6- 2500 psi
We can simply draw a mohr circle having its diameter along x axis with end points (0,0) and (5000,0). The maximum shear stress is will be given by the radius of the mohr circle i.e, 2500 psi.
