Answer #1

Explanation:

Let say garden set is listed for $100.

After 32% percent discount, price will be $100 - $32 = $68

After 19% discount, price will be \small 68 - 68\times (19/100)=55.08\

After 5% discount, price will be \small 55.08-55.08\times (5/100)=52.326\

For $100 price, discounted price = $52.326

So, for $663.06 price, discounted price = \small (52.326\times 663.06)/100 = 346.952776\

a) Net price = $346.95

b) Total amount of discount allowed = $663.06 - $346.95 = $316.11

c)

\small \textup{Single rate of discount =}\frac{663.06-346.95}{663.06}\times 100=47.67

Single rate of discount that was allowed is 47.67%
