Total job cost = Direct material cost + labour cost + overhead cost

                    = $2400 + $17*40   + $18*20

                   = $2,400 +$680 + $360

                    = $3,440

Basic earning per share = net income/ shares

                                        = $700,000/200,000       = 3.5

Answer of C)

P/e ratio = Market price of share / Earning per share

             = $49/3.5   =    14
