Hope you doing well.
I took Deform (mechanics of material) this summer and really struggle with that but after this semester I finally passed the class with a C.

My major is civil engineer and require take more dynamics next semester and if you know dynamics is harder than Deforms ?

And I transfer to Old Dominion University and confuse if the classes in junior level harder than deform and dynamics and will they build up from these 2 classes ?

Thanks in advance

Reality is that, Subjects in the initial semesters or years ( in the beginning) of any degree course are only the basics one. As you progress, different topics and subjects get blend makes it really complex. But if you have gone well through those basic concepts in the beginning years, you'll never feel complexity of the subject in subsequent years.

As you have mentioned that you struggled for the subject, But you passed it with grade C.

I'd simply suggest to not give up. you can do one thing, just go through the basic concepts of the subject (In which you feel you are dull) again whenever you get time in the next class. Just a little more effort of this kind will never let you struggle in any subject. Ask for help from prof. of your college/university, They'll definitely help you.

Giving up, is not the solution of anything.
