outlier is the data value far away from the trend of other data points. In the plot, there is an outlier on the top left.

positive association means as x is increasing, y is also increasing, which is true.

2. this data has negative association means as x is increasing, y is decreasing. so correlation coefficient will be negative. Further, correlation coefficient -1 means perfect negative association, means all the points lie on the best fit line, which is not true in this case as the points are scattered. So, it will be around -0.9, option C
