as its a weak acid and strong base titation , at equivalnec point the ph will be in range of 8-10.

with this in mind lets analyse different indicators .

thymol blue - red to yellow in below range ph 1.2 -2.8

yellow to red in rangeof  ph 8.0to9.6.

bromo cresolpurple -violet above 6.8

- yellow below 5.2

bromo creesol green - yellow below 3.8  

- BLue above 5.4

green in between .

thymophthalein - colourless below9.3-10.5 changes colour to blue .

thus we choose thymol blue as the equivalence point falls near to Ph - 8.72 for a given value of /ka for acid .
