Question 2 please my teachers please
2. Since average rainfall precipitation on the earth is 100cm but it unevenly distributed over Earth's surface. So Various Influencing factors which affecting precipitation distribution are as-
a) Evaporation and temperature
b) Latitude
c) Bursting of monsoon
d) Humidity and wind effect
e) Location and altitude effect
a) Evaporation and temperature- If a location have high temperature then there will be net resulting rainfall precipitation will be less.
b) Latitude- Highest rainfall precipitation occurs on 0° latitude line i,.e, equatorial line and least precipitation occurs on desert region of subtropics and around the poles i.e, at 90° latitude. So rainfall decreases towards poles from equator.
c) Bursting of monsoon- Since these monsoon clouds are formed over oceans during summer, and falls as precipitation heavily on different location.
d) Humidity and wind effect- if humidity is more at a place and wind is less so precipitation will be maximum over that area as due to low pressure precipitation will be more. Wind decides the area which gets maximum or which area gets least precipitation.
e) Location and altitude effect- if a place falls on windward side of a mountain, then that location gets heavily rainfall whereas on leeward side of mountain gets least. If a location is near the sea, then that location also gets more precipitation and location which are more away from sea gets less. And in desert location least precipitation occurs.
