The frequency is defined as no. Of oscillations in the period.

The relationship between frequency f and time period T is given by

f = 1/T.

i.e. the frequency is equal to inverse of time period T.

Further, velocity v is given by

v = fk

Where f is the frequency while k is the wavelength.

Since frequency is related to the period by

f = 1/T

Then, v = k/T

i.e. the velocity is equal to wavelength divided by time period T.

Hence, option 1 is the correct answer.
